On that day, your home inspector will show up fully equipped with all the necessary tools – including electrical testers, a gas and carbon monoxide detector, moisture meter, ladder, inspection mirror, flashlight, level and more. They shouldn’t mind if you want to follow them around during the process. This way, you’ll be able to ask questions, get answers and even estimates about how much you’ll need to spend on repairs and upgrades. Bring a notepad so you can jot down useful information as you go.
